The Antikamnia Chemical Company produced a series of illustrated calendars at the turn of the last century populated with these skeleton sketches and pithy reminders to physicians that, as one box of their pain killers states, ?Feeling is a sense. Feeling pain is Nonsense, No matter When or Where.? They were eventually prosecuted in 1914 for failing to disclose the ingredients of their addictive painkillers.
